About VentureCo - UK based experts in School Expeditions
VentureCo is a unique company, not only because of our multi-phase approach
to travel, but because we set ourselves high standards, and so far, we
have achieved them.
In this section you will find details about how and why we started VentureCo,
our attitude to responsible travel and the standards to which we aspire.
VentureCo is a small adventure travel company based in Warwick. We specialise in organising group travel to the developing world for schools, youth groups and young people taking gap years.
Between them VentureCo's directors, Mark Davison and David Gordon, have over 40 years experience in planning and leading expeditions and development projects across Latin America, Africa and Asia. This experience has allowed VentureCo to develop a network of trusted contacts and local resources in over 20 countries. We currently have 12 "live" development projects, which operate year-round, funded by the VentureCo Trust, to provide small-scale, tangible assistance to local communities. In addition to this we have local co-ordinators in all our main countries of operation, ensuring that our expeditions run safely and smoothly in-country.
When working with schools and colleges, we offer a personalised service,
creating a bespoke itinerary tailored to your specific requirements. We
will happily suggest itineraries, project work, treks and other adventurous
activities for the group, but ultimately it is entirely up to you to decide
on the duration, cost, destination and content of the expedition.
