Exploration
VentureCo School Expeditions > More info > Fundraising & Costs Fundraising for an expedition is both challenging and rewarding, providing many great memories and much fun along the way. Starting off it can seem a little daunting, but with simple planning, a few original ideas and the support and encouragement of VentureCo the team should be able to fundraise a significant proportion of the total cost. During the Introductory Day we will discuss in detail both personal and team fundraising, as well as the possibilities of part-time or holiday work. Over the past years we have heard many great fundraising stories and have put together a comprehensive pack of ideas and case studies to get you started. At the end of the Introductory Day, each member of the team will be given a Fundraising Support Pack, full of detailed information, hints, tips and case studies, on each topic. Of course, if you are struggling to come up with a plan or just need
a bit of help and advice, then be sure to give us a call. Where Does the Money Go - We appreciate
that going on a school expedition involves a lot of hard work to raise
the necessary funds. It is important therefore to know where your money
is going and how it is spent. To assist you with this we have provided
a complete breakdown of the costs of a typical schools expedition.
Flights - As a fully ATOL-bonded company
we arrange group flights for all of our expeditions, ensuring that the
whole group travel together. Flights are included in the cost of the expedition. All expedition teams are eligible fore a 20% discount on personal equipment
at Escape 2, one of the country's leading outdoor shops. A Breakdown of Costs -
