Group Sizes - VentureCo
Worldwide School Expeditions can be of any size you want
Your School Expedition can be of any size, group sizes of 10 to 16 pupils
work extremely well and we would suggest breaking larger groups down into
these smaller teams.
The number of teachers and support staff will depend on the relevant guideline
ratios; we would suggest that one Expedition Leader and one teacher accompany
groups of up to 16 pupils.
Large school groups that are broken down into 2 or more smaller teams
can still follow the same expedition itinerary, with each team on a different
phase of the expedition at any one time. This system ensures that everybody's
input and enthusiasm is required to make the expedition a success.
Equally as important, by dividing into smaller teams, we are able to
minimise our impact upon the host communities and environment, interact
more closely with local communities, and adhere to VentureCo's Responsible
Travel policy.
