Information for
Parents - One of our most important concerns is the parents of pupils
VentureCo are acutely aware of the concerns and queries that you, as a
parent, may have regarding your son's or daughter's expedition. For this
reason we like to involve parents in the expedition right from the start,
keeping you continually informed on the team's preparations, and its progress
once on expedition.
As part of the Expedition Planning Process with the school, VentureCo
hold a Parents' Evening during which the proposed expedition is outlined.
This evening aims to give parents a detailed insight into VentureCo and
the expedition, in order that parents and students may decide together
whether to join the expedition. The evening is also an ideal opportunity
for parents to ask any questions they may have about any aspect of the
expedition.
Parents attending the evening will also be provided
with a Parent Information Pack which covers areas the following:
1 - VentureCo and our Global Expedition experience.
2 - VentureCo staff - Specialised in every
aspect of Expeditioning - from air despatch to all terrain leadership
3 - An overview of the Expedition Training

5 - The roles of our Expedition Leaders and
